The Econo Lodge - Pagosa Springs Colorado
The Econo Lodge is one of the best lodging secrets in southern Colorado. It is a budget hotel than is more upscale than most. The price was reasonable, and represented excellent value for money
The hotel is located on a frontage road off of the main road, about It a four miles away from Pagosa springs Colorado and the famous hot springs. It is located nears a shopping centre with a full supermarket, liquor store, gas station, excellent restaurants and some fast food restraints. The nearby Buffalo Inn and Boss Hoggs are good recommendation for dinner and Chavollo's Taqueria and Ramon's Mexican is also good.
The rooms are new, roomy, clean, and very cozy. The bed is very comfortable and the furnishings are in good shape. The rooms have a mini fridge, cable TV, free wireless internet. There is also a coin operated laundry in the building, as well as, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool. The Staff is friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The check in was quick, and very helpful.
The continental breakfast is adequate and plentiful. There were cereals, juices, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, bananas, muffins and oatmeal. The coffee was really good.
Check out their website, occasionally you can get some good deals. have some goods deals on their web page. Ask for coupons to Wolf Creek Ski Area and the Hot Springs pool in town. You may get lucky. You will be pleased with this motel. A little distance from Pagosa springs Colorado, but it has excellent value and it is within walking distance to excellent eateries.
